Dos Time Live – 33 – Rach Doesn’t Wanna Be a Battery

Scott | March 28, 2009

This week we cover the ongoing success of the Nintendo Wii, a review of Tom Clancy’s new centure into the flight combat realm in HAWX, an awesome and charitable bundle from Macheist and some must play iPhone/iPod touch games.

We are also happy to introduce our newest host, Quinn, who will be bringing the wonders of the world of photography to our show. This week he tells you why 12 megapixels is enough and why your video camera and still camera will soon be one and the same!

Finally, Sean plays with the idea of using our own bodies as batteries and we revisit the naming of Node 4 on the ISS, which didn’t turn out like we wanted… Look for all of this and much more on this episode of Dos Time Live!

P.S. I appologize for the poor quality in spots, we were playing with a new streaming system and Sean’s tubes weren’t flowing!

Where The Wild Things Are – The Movie!

Scott | March 27, 2009

Where The Wild Things Are is a children’s book that was really popular with our generation of kids. If you don’t think that you’ve read it, go look at the cover and you’ll probably remember it.

This is going to be one of those movies that is merely concept based, since you can’t get a feature length film out of a 10 sentence book and use only source material.

I’m still incredibly excited for this movie to come out, it looks absolutely fantastic.

And if you’re wondering what the song in the trailer is (I always do) it’s Wake Up by Arcade Fire
